At the Fjord Distillery, forest and family are at the heart of our business. That's why we make it our duty to improve year after year in terms of sustainable development, to leave a positive impact on our customers and our environment.

Building constructed to high energy standards
We followed high energy standards for the construction of the new distillery.

Responsible sourcing
Our spirits are inspired by the plants of the boreal forest. We responsibly harvest our aromatics from public forests surrounding the distillery. Our spices are carefully selected to ensure plant regeneration after our pickers have passed through.

Enhancement of Toundra Greenhouse cucumbers
The cucumber in our Km12 gin comes from Serres Toundra in St-Félicien, where quality and sustainable development go hand in hand. These cucumbers are upcycled in our production, as part of a strategy to reduce waste and enhance local resources.

Donation to the drug addiction treatment center
Since the company's inception, Distillerie du Fjord has made an annual donation to the Jonquière Drug Addiction Treatment Center. Although we operate in the alcoholic beverage industry, we felt it was important to also get involved in the treatment of people with addiction problems.

Creation of 5 jobs in St-David-de-Falardeau
Our distillery, located at the foot of the Monts-Valin, has helped create 5 jobs in the municipality since its opening in 2016. In addition, it is estimated that plant harvesting creates approximately 6 jobs per year.

Support local businesses
As the distillery attracts many tourists, we have added several local products for sale in our shop. Furthermore, plant harvesting is carried out by local companies, the shop's furniture is made in Anse-St-Jean, the bottling line was developed by a manufacturer from Lévis, and the promotional items and cocktail syrups come from local businesses.
